Dear Tier I Teams,

Terri Bain will be handling the Tier 1 teams this season.

Contact Information Form
Please download and complete the Contact Information form. It is important that Terri receives the Team Manager’s and Head Coach’s detail contact information. She typically sends emails to the Team Manager and copies all coaches. Remember, coaches are ultimately responsible for the rules.

2007-08 CAHA Rules
Please download and read this year’s rules. Familiarize yourself with them and don’t hesitate to ask me questions.

Permission to Travel Form
You are also request to complete and submit a Permission to Travel form before you play any in state and out-of-state tournaments. Be sure to include the USA hockey sanction number with your request.

Rosters / Games
Submit your roster and necessary paperwork to Turi Daniels (USA Hockey Registrar). Your preliminary roster is due to Turi Daniels by September 15th. This is necessary to ensure your games will count and that Turi can certify your roster. Any player added to the team after submitting your initial roster must be certified by Turi. Check with your club for Turi’s contact information.

If your team plays a CAHA AAA/AA game with an illegal or non-rostered player, the game will be ruled a forfeit and will not count towards your 100%. Also, any player or Coach that receives a game misconduct must sit the next pre-scheduled game. Therefore, it is extremely important that you send Terri Bain any updates to your schedule. This will ensure those players serving a suspension will receive credit. Note, you simply cannot add a game in order to have the player/Coach serve a game misconduct. It will be served at the next game Terri has on your schedule.

Game Schedules
Your team’s game schedule is due immediately. Please send it Terri. It is okay to send what you have. You can email Terri with your updates to the schedule throughout season. Please resend the entire schedule (not just the changes) and highlight your additions and deletions in bold.

CAHA is requiring that all Tier I teams leave open the weekend of January 19th & 20th. This weekend will be used if any teams still need to play each other to complete their 100%. Please don't book out-of-state travel for this weekend.

Scoresheets
All scoresheets should be mailed to Terri within 48 hours after the games were played. Please email Terri any game misconducts or match penalties immediately (do not wait 48 hours).

Important CAHA Deadline and Cost
Your team roster and Tier team deposits ($2000 for Tier I) are due on September 15th. Note: The deposit check needs to be a Club check, not a personal check. You must have a minimum of 15 players by September 15th to field a Tier team per our CAHA rules.
